Trescone (Merlot, Sangiovese, Cabernet.S.)
It owes its name to a traditional dance that was used to perform during the harvest .
It is our youngest wine, made up of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, produced in Umbria, in the area of Lake Trasimeno.
The harvest takes place between September and October depending on the variety, after which maceration takes place, in contact with the skins, for a period of fifteen days.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel barrels and then the wine goes into 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels for four months.
Wine with a balanced body and highly drinkable.
The aromas are spicy, with notes of red jam, liquorice and chocolate.
On the palate it has good concentration and harmonious tannins.
It goes well with pasta, risotto, roasted white and red meat, freshwater fish and cheese
